When we were in SLC for conference last weekend we went to an authentic Belgian fritterie. So good. I think the loading page for their website is even cooler than the gauffres and frites...or at least the next best thing...
We were kind of lame about taking pictures on that trip. This is the best I could do.
If you want a recipe for the waffles try this one. I've done it a couple of times. It's pretty easy. You can use Pure Cane Sugar if you can't find Pearlized Sugar. Yum.

Allen's parents lived in Belgium and would always send us these for Christmas. I bet getting them freshly made is just amazing!
