We decided to hike Darby Canyon last week. It's the first time we've been able to go hiking all year. I'm so glad we went because it was absolutely beautiful. I have never seen so many wild flowers and it was so green. It reminded me of Oregon.

Charlie turned into a mountain goat. He loved it so much it made me want to take him hiking everyday. I haven't seen him that happy in a long time.

Here's me, looking up at the waterfall that comes out of the mouth of the cave—trying not to get my camera wet. I love the way my Polaroid application magically gives my photos an awesome crop. If you want to try it—go here. It's totally free.

Lorenz and Nathan decided to do a waterfall-walk. I believe it is similar to a fire walk, just with a waterfall ;). I bet the glacier water felt good after the three miles in. Silly boys.

Charlie the spelunker. We did our hike later in the day, so when we got to the cave there were dozens of people coming out who had started in the ice caves, on the other side of the mountain, and were just coming out on our side. Crazy.

Macho Nathan. Conqueror of the cave.

Hooray for fun hikes + very pregnant-ness. We are having a boy, by the way (a fact which I have neglected to post). Due November 3rd—only 73 more days (give or take).

We were so glad to have those hiking poles. It's the first time I've actually used mine. I don't think I could have done it without them.

I have to say, I was pretty proud of myself.

As I said, the flowers were just stunning. There were fields and fields of them at every climb. I'll post some more pics on facebook so you can see for yourself.
