Featured. Oh La la.

Yay. We're famous. We've been featured on my sister-in-law's blog.  I feel so honored.  I don't think this has ever happened before. Thanks guys. You're the best!

Now, to explain the treasure chest: My family draws names for Christmas but we don't buy just any old gift...we MAKE THEM! I know, it sounds a little intimidating and it is—especially since everyone in the family is so good working with their hands in wood, fabric, and etc. But, it makes it meaningful and Michaels has a lot of good ideas to offer. For instance, this little toy box that we sanded and painted to look like a treasure chest. Josh made ours this year. You'll have to visit us tomorrow to find out what he made us because I don't have awesome pictures yet.

We were a little slow on the uptake and didn't get started until after Christmas but when we did it was so easy to keep going (well...Lorenz did most of the work, actually, and that is probably why it was finished so quickly).

Richard and Catherine had their baby about 11 days before us (on Halloween). They haven't met each-other yet but we are hoping to remedy that soon. Visit their blog for more fun pictures of Tristan's cousin Edmond.
