Sam, Dave, Jack, and Jane came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had a lovely time filled with smoked salmon, rib-eye steaks, and cheesecake. Thanks for coming you guys. We love you so much!

Rexburg Life
I was thinking I was perhaps the worst blogger ever...then I looked at my blog roll and could see many blogs had not been updated in 5 months. Now I don't feel so bad.
So here's one big long corny post:
We both have been working new jobs since April. Lorenz and I both have part-time jobs working with the school. He is translating French legal documents into English for a history teacher on campus. It's part of a research project investigating a lawsuit. Dry old French translated into old English legalese. From what I've heard it's pretty fun.
I'm teaching Typography part-time and am loving it. I will also be teaching 3-D design in the Fall (i.e. packaging, signage, & etc.) It is a very rewarding experience.
Tristan is ever growing and will be seven months on Thursday. He has started to scoot backwards and loves to bang toys together. 'Seven teeth and counting and soon we will be moving to the 'Big Boy' car seat (much to Tristan's satisfaction I'm sure). He loves to eat anything Gerber can puree. Last night he almost ate a whole jar of carrots. Lorenz and I just love him so much. He is the highlight of our life.
We are loving Rexburg. Our new place is wonderful. Charlie loves to be inside too. He loves to play with Tristan and aside from stealing his 'lammy' (a baby lamb stuffed animal) from time to time, is very well behaved.
